There are two media in our living world print and electronic media
Electronic Media
It is much faster than print media as writing and uploading a story that has happened just a few moments ago may take only a few minutes.
Any equipment used in the electronic communication process (television, radio, telephone, computer, game console, mobile device) is considered electronic media.
Positive Effect
The media like television, radio and the Internet increase the overall awareness of the masses. They enhance general knowledge by providing us with information from all over the world. News broadcast through different media helps us know about the day-to-day events in the world.
Negative Effects
Television and electronic games can harm children's physical and emotional health, social development, academic skills and behaviour. Below are some of the suspected negative effects of electronic media on children. Poor nutrition and obesity. Children need time for active play and exercise.

Electronic media is better but not in every field. Print media includes newspapers, journals etc. It is quite an easy proof for any sort of information. The biggest advantage of having print media for those who don't have access to electronic media I.e in rural areas.
The press, the radio and television play a big role in the life of society. They inform, educate and entertain people. They also influence the way people look at the world and make them change their views. Mass media plays a very important role in organizing public opinion.

The similarities in Print media and Electronic media are: They both are steady and worldwide used means of media. Both are in a way related as at times we have to relate them both. Both the means of media pretty much do the same thing and are used for the same functions.
