How to keep our town clean
Generally, people pay good heed to keeping their bodies, clothes and houses clean. But they neglect. to keep their towns clean. Rather they unknowingly do a lot to make their cities dirty. For example, they eat something in the park and leave the peels and other such things there. Some people throw the garbage from their houses out in the street. This is a wrong attitude. We must suppress it. Rather we should make mindful efforts to keep the cities clean. The city steps administration should take radical for the cleanliness of the cities. The sweepers should be made punctual and regular in cleaning the streets and roads.
The household garbage and other waste material property should be disposed of Strict sanitation laws should be made and implemented. The responsible officials should visit the public places, streets and roads daily to see the condition of cleanliness. Occasional campaigns for cleanliness should be promoted
Cleanliness is next to godliness. We must give serious thought to this golden truth. A neat and clean environment has a cheerful effect. It is a sure sign of civilization. Knowledge is a great blessing of Allah. We are fortunate to have the opportunity to receive an education. As school-going boys and girls, it is our responsibility to keep our town clean. We ought to develop a civic sense. We should not throw fruit and vegetable peels all over the street. A banana or melon peel is thrown carelessly on the road can cause a fracture or even death. Plastic, polythene and wooden items should not be thrown into manholes. A choked gutter spreads filth and stench all over the street. Life becomes miserable. Spitting is another problem as it causes disease and insanitary on. We can politely prevent one another from spitting on floors. We should not throw hard things or stones into toilets. We should not be shy of taking a broom and sweeping the littered portion of the street in front of our door. We should take care of trees, plants and flower beds in a park. If we happen to pass by an unattended running water tap, we should stop and close it.
As citizens, we should be vigilant and report to the municipality if its staff neglects its duty. We can also add to cleanliness if we sprinkle water on our portion of the road. Dust and pollution can be effectively controlled if every one of us lends a helping hand.
Allah loves people who practice purity and cleanliness.
